OG YOGA INSTRUCTORS > DEBBY MATULLO

Debby Matullo

Originally from Long Island, New York, I moved to San Diego in 2004 and raised my 2 beautiful daughters, now 13 and 20. I have worked for over 10 years with the County of San Diego in several positions serving the local communities. Through the years I have always been very active, running and lifting weights. I was introduced to yoga as a form of stretching and muscle recovery, however, I always felt as though I was missing something when it came to my yoga practice. It was during COVID when I was able to finally slow down and put more effort into my self-care and learning more about my own mental health. I enrolled in OG Yoga’s 200-hour YTT to support my self-discovery and healing journey and now I want to share what I’ve learned with others.

Words I live by…

I am enough. I have always been enough. I will always be enough.

What inspires me…

My daughters inspire me to try to leave this world a better place. My love of learning inspires me to stay curious about everything.

Outside of the studio…

You can find me spending time with my daughters, going on hiking adventures with friends, trying new vegan recipes, rollerblading at the beach or reading a book by the pool.

About my class called OG Flow…

This is a gentle, mindful stretch flow, welcoming all fitness levels.
