OG Yoga's 200-Hour Teacher Training 2019

About this training

Non-profit OG Yoga's first-ever 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training School program wrapped up in December of 2018 and the next 200-hour program begins on February 1, 2019 and runs through August 11, 2019 in San Diego. 

This 200-hour school is presented in affiliation with Cloud Nine Yoga and is a Yoga Alliance Registered School with a special emphasis in trauma-informed and mindfulness-based practice.

Classes will be offered two weekends a month. Below are the class dates:

  • Friday, February 1st: 5pm - 9pm

  • Saturday, February 2nd: 12pm - 5pm

  • Sunday, February 3rd 12pm - 5pm

  • Friday, February 8th: 5pm - 9pm

  • Saturday, February 9th: 12pm - 5pm

  • Sunday, February 10th: 12pm - 5pm

  • Saturday/Sunday, March 2nd & 3rd: 10am - 5pm

  • Saturday/Sunday, March 16th & 17th: 10am - 5pm

  • Saturday/Sunday, April 6th & 7th: 10am - 5pm

  • Saturday/Sunday, April 13th & 14tht: 10am - 5pm

  • Saturday/Sunday, May 4th & 5th: 10am - 5pm

  • Saturday/Sunday, May 18th & 19th: 10am - 5pm

  • Saturday/Sunday, June 1st & 2nd: 10am - 5pm

  • Break 

  • Saturday/Sunday, July 13th & 14th: 10am - 5pm

  • Saturday/Sunday, July 27th & 28th: 10am - 5pm

  • Saturday/Sunday, August 10th & 11th: 10am - 5pm

Why? 

This specialty 200-hour school addresses TRAUMA. A specialty RYS with a special emphasis in trauma-informed and mindfulness-based practice. Complete a 200-hour training with a focus on the knowledge, tools and experience needed to effectively work with vulnerable populations. Those facing homelessness, poverty, abuse, addiction and reentry including youth, foster care, veterans, incarcerated, seniors and low-vision.

Learn how to be trauma and diversity sensitive from how the yoga room is set up, to use of terminology and tailoring poses.
